Use a racquet and beanbag or Koosh ball or other object and have the children:

  • Balance the object on the strings
  • Balance the object while walking to the coach
  • Balance the object and follow the leader around the court or along the lines

Have a relay race by giving each team one beanbag and have one child at a time from each team walk to a parent/coach and return to the baseline to pass off the beanbag, racquet to racquet, to the next player. Have the coaches step farther away and play again.
